Friday Morng
New York, April 30th 41.
My dear Sir,
The accident which prevented
our meeting on Monday, was in some respects
fortunate, as my sister
her bed, and my presence at home, seems necessa-
ry for a few days longer. Mrs Blatchford
probably be able, by the middle of next week to
visit her friends in Lansingburg, and then, it will
be gratifying to us to have Samuel
on a day most convenient for yourself, to visit his
sister
It was unfortunate that your boys should have
paid so dearly for their excursion
our city. I hope Mrs Seward
health, though this protracted season of storms,
is very ungentle in its treatment of bad colds.
With kind remembrance to her, believe me
affecy yr sister
M. L. Seward
WH. Seward.
