N.Y. 13 June 1825
Honored Sirs
I am robbing time from pressing
duties, merely say that our healths are
good and our spirits reviving. In relation
to the matter of greatest interest, nothing
has been learned of moment. No solicitude
other than has been before shown, appears —
No letter has been made or talked of No
disposition to our friends that are not here
My proposition has been hinted at by
Marcia
Birth: 1794-07-23 Death: 1839-10-25
- and was well received — I
shall this evening push that matter further
of which I will advise you by the
next mail — I fear I shall be too
late — Please write how little Augustus
Birth: 1820-05-18 Death: 1889-05-08
stood his ride up —
Affectionately Yours
B.J. Seward
Hon S.S. Seward
