Florida 18 March 1833
My dear Henry
I have long been of opinion that
a Journey to Europe would be beneficial
to my health and have as constantly
felt anxious that you should accompany
me — I have ^been^ Uniformly desiourous th
fearfull that it would be considered
too great a sacrifise to your business
and have therefore omited to write
to you on the subject — But reflecting
that I would relieve you from any
expense and that a tour of this
description would add very
much to your accomplishment
as a public man — I conceive you
perhap never will have a better
time to impro[ ve ]
