Dear Sister,
Since I received your kind letter, (about a
week since, my little ones

We shall still hope, that he will, before he returns –
I am sorry to hear that you too are so much afflicted
with headache, I was confined yesterday all day with it
and today I feel only midling ––
I received a letter from George

last Evening of the 24th Sun,
he says Tempe

has been ill about a week with a
principal fever, he has despaired very much of her
recovery but her symptoms seemed more favorable on

in despair for his three little children
