My Dear Mr Seward
Yours of the 3d Inst
When I wrote we thought fathers
he has had a confirmed Inflamitary fever for 21 days
he is we are in hopes through the worst of it but he
is as weak as he can be and live his fever has not yet
broke but it appears to be wearing off we are In hopes –
he will get along now – altho I wrote to Auburn –
he says as you are so busy he does not
wish you to come unless we write again –
but wish you to come whenever your Business
will permit –
Uncle John Seward
a son of Israels
Mrs Evans
feble she can scarcely walk the floor – we hourly
fear the typhus fever will set in and take her down
Father is a going to ride in the cariage this morning
Yours with Respect
