My dear Brother Henry
I am concerned, not more to find
that I have overstayed my time when you
are expecting me to follow you, than to observe
how difficult it is to obtain the attention of
gentlemen here, to the business I have in hand.
Pray remember for me, that this is my first visit
among the families of my late loves
Birth: 1794-07-23 Death: 1839-10-25
kindred ^since my bereavement^ &
to pay it, was a solemn & an interesting duty.
With the least possible delay, in accomplishing
the necessary preparations here, I will be
with you - leaving, if I can, tomorrow at two
oclock.
All well
Your grateful brother
B.J. Seward
