Dear Henry
The postponement of the de-
livery of deeds and discharges here, has
become so injurious and vexing to some and
so embarrassing to me, that I have written
a long letter of report & explanations to meet
as I hope his requirement before the power
could be signed; and I have informed him
that he might look for it from you. Will
you be good enough to sign & verify it prop-
erly for our record – & inclose it to Mr
Duer
he execute also & forward to me without
delay. If possible I must not leave
here, till these deeds &c are made –
and certainly I cannot leave for some
weeks without manifest injury to our interests.
Your grateful Brother
