Sunday noon
My dear Henry I have but a moment to write
a line Blatchford
Birth: 1820-03-09 Death: 1893-07-07
goes so unexpectedly I intended
to have written a long letter though I have nothing
particular to say we are all well — I wish you
were with us or that I were with you if I could
in any way diminish the depression under which
you seem to be labouring — pray try and keep
your mind sufficiently composed that your
health may not suffer — you are very necessary
to the happiness of many — Blatchford was
detained at Canandaigua longer than he purposed
staying by some misunderstanding with Lazette
Birth: 1803-11-01 Death: 1875-10-03

I have had little opportunity to talk with him since
he came back — he is somewhat depressed in spirits
and says he is more than half inclined to stay
with you — Every body asks when you are coming home
I am sorry to hear of Weeds
Birth: 1797-11-15 Death: 1882-11-22
trouble — I supposed that all
settled some time ago. ever your own Frances —
