My dear Henry
In the hope that you left N.Y.
this morning in the Western Train of carrs,
I am anxiously looking for you every
moment from Goshen — Our dear Francis

have been with us three days and
you cannot conceive the pleasure we have
had in their company — Your sons are
of all the persons we have had in our
house the most exemplary —

My highest hopes and wishes have
been realised – You at two clock
and we are unable to express the
pleasure we had in the company of
yourself and family during your
short stay —
I had co ^ntem^ mplated getting
some information from you relative to
business that interests our pecuniary affairs
but the short time and the company present

that this is one of the plainest suits ever decided
in Chancery — I am lothe to be beat and therefore
wish you to procure me the best council
you can get write to me on the subject and
I will attend to it — Of of the most experienced
Dentist I wish to know – 1st whether he can fit
in a whole set of teeth where the gums are small
found clear of stumps and sollid and confine
them so that in time they will ^feel^ natural and

comfortable and answer the purpose for common
mastifications — 2nd what is the process and the
value of setting Teeth by the atmospheric pressure
3rd what would be the expense of putting in a set
in a small mouth where precautions can be
made use of to render them easy comfortable and
usefull — The patient is advanced in years lost
good teeth by being deceived into an improper use
use of Calomel and as is at times subject to
an irritating cough— I am disposed to ask an-
other in this matter — If my voice in speaking
and reading together with the carefull use
of mastification can be restored I shall I should
stress it an object — If convenient to make these
enquiries you will do me a favour
