Florida 15 March 1842
My Dr William Henry
I received yesterday from the
Journal Office a bill of thirty two Dollars
for printing – Having advanced Cash within
the date specified in said amount to the amount
of more than three hundred & fifty Dollars
I respectfully submit to you whether my
advances have not been fully proportionate
without discharging this bill and especially
as I was informed when I advansed this money
that it would go into the general fund and I
expected the papers I received were on that
account
Your dear Ma
extremely feeble, Mrs Capt Jennings
taking care of us and sewing for the [ villigers ]
Alternate Text: villagers
It is a long time since we have heard from
you Give our Kindest affections to dear
Frances We are fondly looking
for a visit from you all this Spring
most affectionately yours
Saml S Seward
