My dear Wm Henry
Your interesting letter of
the 24 Inst– was received last evening– I am happy
to hear that Ma.

Reason: gives me pleasure also to learn
she has recovered from her cold– So lest not
should I be induced to visitt you before
Frances
doubtful– Since writing my former letter
I have had an extreme ill lesions, am yet
feeble and think it doubtfull when then
I again see Albany— Edwin
driving his fall business and calculates
to spend the 9th of October with you, and
[ retrurn ]

at 5/– I made him a present of 150 Cents
taxing his cost and we parted good friends
