My Dear William Henry
Your beloved Ma has been ins-
stantly failing and running down untill within the last
three days when her fever abated some – she is much
of the time unable to set up refuses to take Medicine objects
to my calling in Dr Jansen and is much discouraged
I am more affected with my disease than when you
were here — Have purchased another farm joining
our land at Sewardsburgh on the Turnpike – GWS taken
possession 1^st of Apr he has already gone to improving it
Col Post and Mr Randolph & wife are determined to
sell – and wish me to purchas – I wish your advice
before I [ bargen ] and therefore wish you to come down
on Saturday next with out fail – There are question of
great magnitude involved in this business and it requires
immediate action – A days delay may derange the
Whole plan – I therefore intreat you to come without
fail — I have spoken to Mr Parson on the subject of the
[ instutution ] – He thinks it would be of the first impor-
tance to the family and the country
