Canandaigua Tuesday morning.
My Dearest Frances,
We have a bright morning, which it seems al-
most sacrilege to devote to this vile litigation. I was
at work until 11 last night, and of course wakeful until
after 12.
Worden are well
I almost wish that you had come out with me. The weather
is so fine.
Very affectionately your own
Henry.
