Florida Septe 21st 1853
My Dear Brother
Your note of the 19th was
received and I am happy to say that
your wishes relative to an approaching
crisis are realized, though not without
a severe and protracted struggle.
Julia
Birth: 1824-02-11 Death: 1895
gave birth to apparently a
healthy, certainly a heavy boy this
morning at six o clock. His mother has
given him the name of Charles Humphrey
Seward
Birth: 1853-09-21 Death: 1877-10-20
. She is doing quite well and
we are in hopes will soon regain
the wonted health and strength.
Sarah
Birth: 1833-06-08 Death: 1891-06-12
and myself regretted much
that we could not go out to Ohio with
you but it did not seem judicious.
We are gratified to hear of Frances
Birth: 1805-09-24 Death: 1865-06-21
im-
proving health, our regards to her Your Affc Brother
Geo.
