My dear Mother
I arrived here safe
a week ago this morning and I found
that I had not come back any to soon
for two

busy all this week It seemed pretty
hard after being up home a week to
come back to this dingey old City to
work again the contrast between the two
is so great that it has made this week
pass very slowly. I saw John
