Saturday morning Oct 31
My Dear Son,
I have been in your
room most of the time since
you left home — it is very
comfortable but I would
rather have you in it too —
I hoped this morning &
yesterday to hear that you
were not sick as I sadly
fear you are – I know
you will write me a line
tomorrow – The weather is
a little milder and we
have occassional glimpses
of the sun – Frances
Birth: 1826 Death: 1909-08-24
and
her family
x Birth: 1854-02  Death: 1931-05-23  Birth: 1822-02-03  Death: 1888-11-24
are still here –
Thomas Millers
Birth: 1817-07-09 Death: 1864-07-23
children
x
Unknown Birth: 1852-03-17  Death: 1877-07-26
are
at Aunt Clara's
Birth: 1793-05-01 Death: 1862-09-05
but I
shall send for them here
soon if Tom does not

come as Kate
Birth: 1837 Death: 1878-04-08
goes to
Philadelphia next Tuesday
on her way to Washington
Frances
Birth: 1844-12-09 Death: 1866-10-29
spends almost
every morning "in society"
somewhere – to day she
goes to Mrs Wrights
Birth: 1806-12-25 Death: 1875-01-04
– last
morning was at Mrs Marvins
Birth: 1810-07-08 Death: 1888-05-06

She has been once to Pisgah
but Aunty
Birth: 1803-11-01 Death: 1875-10-03
concluded,
wisely I think, that it
was not best for them
to remove there – She
'daily' will tell you about
the conviction of the
supposed murder of Beadle
Birth: 1828 Death: 1856-09-28
.
It is to be hoped they
have the right man
Dont fail to write –
I sent the apples by rail
road Thursday – freight
paid —
