Friday morning
My Darling
Mrs Perry
Birth: 1819-10-04 Death: 1898-02-12
was so kind as to send your letter
over after she came home
which was quite late in
the evening – I fear ma
petite is a little homesick
and I would gladly have
her home with me again –
Perhaps you will feel better
to day – if you wish me
to send for you I will
do so – or I will try to
come a day earlier than I
proposed – I have not been
well since you went away
but am now about house
again – neuralgia consequent
upon the exertion of going
to the store Tuesday –
Aunty
Birth: 1803-11-01 Death: 1875-10-03
went to Pisgah last
yesterday and spent much
of the day – Aunt Clara
Birth: 1793-05-01 Death: 1862-09-05
was here in the evening
& Mr McClallen
Birth: 1791-09-07 Death: 1860-11-16
– We are at present engaged in the
impossible undertaking of
getting a respectable sized
bonnet for Aunt Clara –
I wrote to Mr. Huson
Birth: 1822 Death: 1861-10-14
to know if Catherine
Birth: 1825 Death: 1898
was at home which I suppose
will determine Aunt Clara's
going with us –
It is a fine bright morning
but cool for the season –
To day I shall look for
a letter from Father
Birth: 1801-05-16 Death: 1872-10-10
Bell
Birth: 1858
would not get up this morning until
I pulled him from
the bed – When I went
out I found a poor
little robin on the ground
which could not
walk or fly – I put
it up on a tree and
am going again to see
what has become of it –
The Gladiolus are
in flower and are
very various and
beautiful –
I have just discovered that
I have taken a sheet
upon which Will
Birth: 1839-06-18 Death: 1920-04-29
has made some calculation
of an arithmetical character
however I will not
try to write over –
Aunty sends love and
says the Millers
Unknown
always were poor visitors
