Albany. Dec 1 st 1859
My dear Will,
Here is a letter
from Mr K.B. Sewall
Birth: 1807-12-02 Death: 1865-08-19
in
reply to mine telling him Father
Birth: 1801-05-16 Death: 1872-10-10

would not be at home in
time to argue his case.
I have written him today
that you will make another
immediate and thorough search
among Father's papers for the
brief, and if you find it, or
anything relating to it, will
send it to him at "Mobile ."
Did you write Father about it
when you received Mr Sewall's
letter? And if so, have you
any answer?
Is it possible the brief may
have been made at Washington

and left there? And if so, is
there any way in which it can
be got?
If you can give Mr Sewall
any information on any of these
points, further than what we
have already told him, please
write to him at Mobile, and
send a duplicate of your letter
to him at Washington, as it
is uncertain at which place he
will be.
Affectionately yours
Frederick
