I leave here
tomorrow with Mr Weed.
I wish I could take

he cannot leave for
a day. Margaret
& I have made a
carpet for the guest–
chamber, & while the
parlor carpet & curtains
are being made I
thought was a good

visit north.
The red curtains have
been altered & will
look as good as new
when hung.
Augustus
better. He does not
cough, and is growing
stout again.
I should like to see
Aunty
but fear I shall
not have time to go
to Auburn– they must
