Tuesday.
My dear Mother
I send you
by Express some gray
cloth – plush to alter
Fanny’s
is what is used.
They tell me that
cloth off the same peice
would not match that
which has been worn.
I will send a pattern
of a cape – it must be
cut with a seam down
the back, so that the
stripes in the plush will
come together so – e

a cloak & warmer.
I write in haste,
the carriage has come
to take me back to
the farm – I came in
