Dear Sir:
My dear Fred
I have had
no time for the past two
months to send you any
report of the affairs here
and in fact I have been
obliged to let Father
go sadly behind for the
want of time. Ever since
“Mac”
I have been completely tied
down there. I however hope
to catch up within a month
or so.
The balance here is about
$1000 and unless you need
most of this I will take up

at $500 Note discounted ^for father^ + at
the office several months
since, if however you wish
to use the money the note
can lay as it is.
If possible I want to pay
$1000 on Fathers $2000 ^note^ + at the
Bank of Auburn due
next month.
The N.Y.C Bond sold at

The last chaut Co remittance
was $81116.
