My dear Mother
I have written a
letter to Jenny
Birth: 1839-11-18 Death: 1913-11-09
and directed it
to Phila – If she should still
be in Washington will you
please forward it to her.
We are all very glad to hear that
Fanny
Birth: 1844-12-09 Death: 1866-10-29
is improving I hope she
will be able to travel before long
as I think a change of air will
be a benefit.
We are all quite well at home.
I am very sorry that Auntys
Birth: 1803-11-01 Death: 1875-10-03
letter about my illness should have
caused you so much uneasiness.
I have written Jenny to do
just as she thinks best about
returning to Washington after
her visit to Phila I hope she may
be of some assistance to you
Give my love to Fanny
Your affectionate son
Will
