My dearest Frances
I have just received your
Thursday letter. I venture to hope
that your hospital is relieved
of some of its anxieties since I
have no Telegram report of it
since your letter was written.
It seems as if I ought not
to hope to be with my family
any more when they are sick – We
hear so many and such few
widely reported terms.
