My very dear Son,
Your answer to Fathers
telegram of yesterday has
just come, We are greatly
relieved to hear you are
better. We had both
determined to go to you
had you been worse.
I have had one letter
from Aunty
letr written Tuesday
all were doing well
at that time. Do
not fail to let us know
if you are any more ill.
and be as careful of
your health as you
can.

Either Charles Watrous Pomeroy has come
yet. Fred’s
improves very slowly.
The snow yesterday
morning was 6 inches
deep. it is thawing
today. We look
for your letter tomorrow
Maj. Knowles'
yesterday about 2
oclock. We are
much obliged to him
for visiting. No news
from Sherman

care of yourself & may
God protect you
