Dear Uncle,
Being desirous of getting
in some permanent business,
I write to ask a little of your
assistance.
I have an opportunity of getting
in a well established drug
House in this city with an old
schoolmate

iness on account of ill health,
and as I need a little capital
I write to ask if you will lend
me $2,000 for three or five
years.
Since last November I have
been constructing Telegraph lines
