My dear Father
Mr. Schleiden
last evening to spend a
day with you. The Lake being
so rough I send him up
with Mr. Pomeroy
He will remain until Monday,
Mr Speed
come but when he does I
will send him up with my horses
Jenny
up to remain over Sunday as
you will have quite a house-
-hold and we shall be quite
alone and can get along
without him until then.
Jenny is not quite so well to
day and yet not much worse
she still hopes to be about

I am sorry you are
having such rough weather
but I think that it will
clear up by tomorrow
