The census in Ancestry lists them as being married in 1848, but we are able to narrow the date down more, as Frances attended their wedding party. In the letter 18481020FMS_WHS1, she says "I went to Mrs Porters wedding party Wednesday evening... Charles was married to Miss Morgan in the morning." The date the letter was written was a Friday, so Wednesday would have been the 18th.
