RelationshipsBiography
Frederick Chase Hutchinson was the son of Asa Hutchinson and his wife, Elizabeth. Asa was a member of the well-known Hutchinson Family Singers, but little is known about Frederick's life. In Fanny Seward's 1858-1859 diary she writes that Asa, Elizabeth, and "Freddy" had come to Auburn in late April 1859, where they visited the Sewards and also performed. This suggests that Frederick was following in his father's footsteps and was a singer as well. He died at 22 in Minnesota and is buried there with the rest of his immediate family.
