Biography
Kellogg was a member of the New York State Assembly, Mayor of Troy, and Paymaster General of the New York State Militia. Under President Millard Fillmore, he was appointed U. S. Consul at Glasgow, Scotland. His father, Charles Kellogg, was prominent in early 19th century America, particularly in New York. Day Otis's siblings include Abigail Ann Warden, Electa Samantha Abel, and Dorliska Backus.
