Horace Binney

Biography
Horace Binney was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Harvard in 1797, and was admitted to the bar in 1800. From 1809 to 1814 he published six volumes of court report cases heard in the state Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. He married Elizabeth Cox Binney and had five children with her. He represented Pennsylvania in the United States House of Representatives from 1833-1835. He gave up his legal practice in 1850.
