Oliver Holden Jr married Frances Sloan in Belleville NJ on March 21 1822. Frances is the daughter of Daniel Sloan. 

Mentioned in 18391209SSS_WHS: "Mr Daniel Sloan of Bloomingburg to whom you was introduced at Goshen a few days since solicits me to say to you that his son in law Oliver Holden Jr of the City of NY is an applicant for the office of Measurer Gen. of that City & Co. I have not personal acquaintance with Mr Holden but have for years heard BJS speak highly of him as an honorable prompt business man and a friend of his. He has been a number of years a Measurer."
