Biography
William Augustus Westcott was a Presbyterian minister, born in Orange County, N.Y., in 1814. In 1841 he entered Princeton Seminary. In 1845 he was licensed to preach, and was called to Church at Florida where he was installed as pastor in 1849. He is mentioned by EPS in his letter to Frances: 18490612EPS_FMS: "Dr Westcott of Goshen's is to take the place of Dr.Cummins in Florida Church soon."
