Reverend Frederick Tiffany was ordained to the Priesthood in 1828, and he was elected as the Chaplain to the US Congress in 1842.



In 18401008FMS_WHS1v1, Frances mentions that on a visit to the Webb family's Spring Lawn estate they went "to Flushing to bring Mr Tiffany (the Rev) from the steam boat."
