Biography

Amzi Armstrong was born in Mendham, NJ in 1807. In 1826 he graduated from the College of New Jersey and in 1830 he was admitted to the bar. From 1833-1840 he represented Essex County in the State Council and for some years served as one of the judges of the Court of Errors and Appeals. He died in 1845.
