Mentioned in WHS travel letter 1833-06-24. WHS writes
"From there proud ruins of ancient magnificence we now directed on way to the most splendid imitations of Gothic archi-
techture in modern Europe to Eaton Hall the county seat of the late Lord Grosvenor now the Marquis of Westminster distant about 4 ½ miles from" William Henry Seward also met with him again during his 1859 travels in London, and stayed at his city residence with the Marquis's family.
