Biography
Known as the doctor who helped treat Alexander Hamilton in 1804 after his duel with Aaron Burr. In 1826, along with Dr Valentine Mott and several other doctors, he helped establish the Medical College at Rutgers. He and Mott trained Dr Isaac Ward which FMS commented on in 1842. Also apparently he was lifelong friends with DeWitt Clinton.
