John James Porter is the son of Abigail Porter and John Edward Porter. An image of his gravestone on Find a Grave shows his death to have been in 1847, but there is a source on Ancestry Library that claims his death to have been in 1848. Since the Find a Grave source shows an actual image of his grave, and the source on Ancestry is just family information from a secondary source book, his death has been listed as the date of the Find a Grave website. I was unable to locate other sources to verify his death date.
