Catherine Meredith was the wife of William Morris Meredith, Secretary of the Treasury during the Zachary Taylor administration. She was the daughter of Michael Keppele. Catherine and William had six children together: William, Catherine, Elizabeth, Pidgy, Gertrude, and Euphemia.
