RelationshipsBiography
Elizabeth Graham Williams was the daughter of Platt Williams and Sarah Ann Williams and the sister of Charles Platt Williams. Platt was a prominent Albany physician and retired near Boonville, Oneida, NY. Her brother, Charles, was friends with Frederick William Seward. They attended Union College together, and Fred spent some of his breaks at the Williams' in Boonville. Frances Miller Seward and Frances Alvah Warden Chesebro suggest to Augustus Henry Seward in 1849 that Elizabeth may be the reason Fred stops to visit the Williams family so frequently in 1849.
