Biography

Known as the "Pittsburgh Heiress that Shocked The World," she was 15 years old student when she eloped with a man over twice her age, Edward Schenely. Their marriage was a major scandal which forced the Inglis School (where they met) operated by Frances and Richmond Inglis to close their doors. Her husband was also the brother in law of Richmond Inglis. She was initially disowned by her family, but later they reconciled. She had around 7 children with her husband and they lived in PA/England.
