Augusta was the daughter of George Armstrong, niece of Jasper Armstrong, and wife of Charles Kinsey. She died young at age 22. Mentioned in a letter from Edwin Seward to Frances Seward December 9, 1850. "Jasper S Armstrong buried his only Daughter two Days before you left Goshen and a Niece Mrs Augusta Kinsey She died young and left no child Mr Post and his two Children have gone to her fathers "
