Elizabeth Murray Love Cary was the daughter of Thomas Cutting Love and Maria Maltby Love. The Loves were a prominent Buffalo family, and associates of the Sewards. In 1851 Elizabeth visited Frances in Washington, DC along with her mother and sister, Maria Maltby Love. She married Ebenezer Cary, a member of another well-known Buffalo family. Elizabeth's sister Julia also married a member of the Cary family, Dr. Walter Cary. Ebenezer was Walter's first cousin once removed. Elizabeth and Ebenezer did not have any children, and she died in Buffalo in 1924.
