Biography

She was an Irish domestic servant in Canandaigua. In the 1850s, she worked for the Worden family. It appears that young "Anna," as she is identified by Lazette Worden, befriended Frances Seward in the early 1850s as they were roughly the same age and Lazette wrote about how Anna wished to see Frances again. Lazette left Canandaigua in the late 1850s after her husband's death and Ann went to work for another family in Canandaigua, appearing in an 1870 census with the Crittenden family.
