Biography
Francis Bloodgood Hall went to Union College in Schenectady N.Y, graduating in 1852. He married Frances (nee Webb) Hall. He entered the Seminary at Princeton in 1853, graduating in 1856. He served as a chaplain during the American Civil War, and was one of only six chaplains to receive a Medal of Honor. His sister, Elizabeth Hall, married Col. Joseph Nelson Garland Whistler. Francis Hall died Oct. 4, 1903 of bronchial pneumonia.
