Biography

Capt. William G. Freeman was referenced in Frederick William Seward's letter of March 24, 1856 to Augustus Henry Seward as resigning from his position at the office of the Adjutant General in Washington, D.C. He had a long military career, and passed away in Pennsylvania in 1866.
