Biography

Frank Goodrich was a frame maker, gilder, and "looking glass" in Auburn, New York. Like Elizabeth Graham, a local Auburn milliner, Goodrich's shop was set ablaze by a fire in 1857. The Auburn Weekly reported: 

"No. 129, Mr. F. G. Goodrich, picture framing and gilding shop. No insurance. Loss several hundreds of dollars. A number of valuable paintings, portraits and engravings were destroyed."
