Biography
William Wordsworth is considered one of the "founders of English Romanticism." Wordsworth's childhood was spent in the Lake District of England, which influenced his early poetry; the Lake District would also become "closely associated with Wordsworth for over two centuries after his death." Wadsworth's contribution to the Romantic revolution includes: new attitude toward nature, self-exploration in literary prose, "placed poetry at the center of the human experience."
