Biography

Sir Thomas Lucy is believed to be the influence for Justice Shallow in Shakespeare's "Henry IV." In 1565, Lucy was night and sat in "two Sessions of Parliament as knight of the shire of Warwick." Lucy has also been said to have prosecuted young William Shakespeare "for stealing deer in Charlecote Park."
