Biography
Mary Parkins Hollingsworth married Aaron Hackney Griffith in 1830 near Winchester, VA. They were a Quaker and Union family with 10 children, one of whom was Joseph Clarkson Griffith, mentioned in Fanny Adeline Seward's 1862-63 diary. Fanny also mentions "his [Joseph's] mother" in her diary, as the superintendent of a hospital in Virginia, though no source beyond Fanny was found to support that.
