Biography

Isaiah is the Hebrew prophet for whom the Book of Isaiah is named in the Christian Bible. He was supposedly called to prophesy in 742 B.C.E., but his exact lifespan is unknown. Isaiah is believed to have predicted the coming of the Messiah Jesus Christ nearly 700 years before his birth.
